Lauren contacted me all the way from Washington, DC to design her save the dates and wedding invitations and check out how great everything turned out with only talking via phone and e-mail! We started with designing the save the dates. Lauren wanted these to be a little more fun so we did an azalea pink 4x5 Z-fold card with a pyrite backing and printed on an ivory matte stock. We created a monogram design that was used on the save the date as well as for the return address on the back of the envelope. We used an ivory ribbon to close the card.For the invitations we went with a more formal and traditional look by using the pyrite pocket as the main color with accents of pink and brown. We designed a response card, schedule of events card, and a custom directions and map card that where inserted into the pocket. To close the pocket we used the same monogram design from the save the dates as the seal for the invites.
I absolutely love the simplicity and sophistication of these invitations and how everything from the save the dates to the invites is perfectly coordinated.
